The course will help all novice computer users get up to speed with Word quickly. By the end of this course, students should be comfortable with creating, saving, and sharing a basic document that contains text, graphics, and formatting. Students will also become familiar with using and customizing the Microsoft Word interface.

Learning Objectives

Learn and understand the components of the Microsoft Word interface, how to create a Word document and use document views,
and how to get help in Microsoft Word.
Editing a document, including navigating through a document; selecting and modifying text; and finding and replacing text.

Learn how to work with tables, including inserting, modifying, and formatting them; and converting text to a table
Learn how to manage lists, add graphics, control page appearance, and proofread a document.

By the end of this course, users should be comfortable with using tools such as styles, macros, templates, mail merge, and building blocks to automate tasks. Students will also understand how to create complex documents using tables, charts, and various types of illustrations.

This spreadsheet program enables users to work with and store data in a table. It is part of Microsoft’s cloud-based subscription to a suite of programs that also includes Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. This course will help users get up to speed with Excel 365. By the
end of this course, students should be comfortable with creating a new spreadsheet, working with basic formulas and functions, and making a spreadsheet look professional and presentable.

It is part of Microsoft’s cloud-based subscription to a suite of programs that also includes Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. This course will help users get up to speed with Excel 365. By the end of this course, students should be comfortable with creating a new spreadsheet, working with basic formulas and functions, and making a spreadsheet look professional and presentable.

This Excel course incorporates some new features and connectivity options in an effort to make collaboration and production as easy as possible. This course is intended to help all users get up to speed on the different features of Microsoft Excel 365 and to become familiar with its more advanced selection of features. It covers how to create and use advanced formulas, analyze data, organize worksheet data with tables, visualize data with charts, insert graphics, and enhance workbooks.

Learning Objectives

Students learn how to use range names in formulas and functions and how to use specialized functions.
Know how to analyze data using text, logic, lookup, date, and financial functions.
create charts, as well as how to modify and format existing charts. They will also learn how to create a trendline and advanced
charts.
Students will be able to insert, modify, layer, and group graphical objects. We will also take a look at how to incorporate SmartArt
into workbooks. Identify the stages of team development and how to help a team move through them

This Microsoft PowerPoint 365 course is intended to help all users get up to speed quickly with the software. It covers getting started with the app; creating and delivering a simple presentation; using formatting and editing tools; adding images, shapes, tables, and
SmartArt; and finalizing a presentation. Students should be comfortable using Microsoft PowerPoint 365 to create a presentation with a variety of features.

Learning Objectives

Students will be able to effectively use Powerpoint: editing, presentation type, and navigating the presentation.
Understand how to graphical images and animation to presentation.
Understand and demonstrate how to add tables and charts and be able to manipulate them to the presentation.
Students will learn how to review, print, and deliver presentations.

This course is intended to help all users get started with Teams, use messages and channels, communicate in different ways, and customize Teams settings. By the end of this course, users should be comfortable using the Teams app in their day-to-day workflow. Course participants will learn how to use the Teams interface, communicate using channels, use other communication tools such as chat, audio, and video calls, how to customize channels, how to manage the Teams profile, how to add bots and apps, and more.

After completing this course, students will be comfortable with using this web-based email application in their day-to-day workflow. The topics covered are: getting started; working with email messages; organizing email; using the calendar workspace; using the people workspace; and using the to-do workspace — including activities and review questions.

A foundational understanding of email messages, from creating and responding to them to managing the messages you receive
Students will be able to effectively use folders, categories, view settings, and Outlook tools to manage their email messages
Understand the Calendar workspace and how to use the workspace’s features. This will include creating simple and complex
events, using the Event window, modifying events, as well as how to share your calendar, and view and manage other calendars.
A Foundational understanding of how to create and manage contacts and contact lists, and how to customize the People
workspace to suit their workflow. Identify the stages of team development and how to help a team move through them

This course will impart everything needed to use this application for teams to share information and work together. All skill levels can take advantage of this opportunity to learn how to use this cloud-based communication package. This training course will guide the
students through how to: set up a Slack account and build a team. Send messages and track them with threads. Create and manage channels. Advance to direct messaging, posting, and sharing files. Customize a team’s experience including adding apps. Add, reassign, or remove members, teams, and accounts.

Students are required to choose and complete 3 electives in this program. They may choose from any of the 1000+ remaining courses.

Students will be required to complete a case study of their choice. They will be required to submit their case study in MLA format bringing their knowledge from the program to a case study. This is a Pass/Fail course.
